This is a group for carers to take two hours out of their caring roles to be nourished by writing together. Whether you are a seasoned writer or have never tried creative writing before, you will be welcome. Whether you want to write about what is is like to be a carer or whether you want to get right away from that and write a story, a poem, a play, a blog is entirely up to you.
This will be a small, friendly group. Based on the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method, we will write to prompts to generate new writing. There will be an opportunity to read and receive feedback but there will be no pressure to do so.
Dates: Wednesdays 2pm – 4pm monthly
Venue – Evington Park House, Evington Park, Evington, Leicester
Cost – by donation (minimum suggested £2)
